The University of Caldas intends to offer the Ph.D. program in Design and Creation to researchers who want to deepen in basic problems of the nature and practice of design and creation.

This program won the call made by COLCIENCIAS and the Colombian Ministry of Education, for creating Ph.D. studies.

The proposal of the program is supported by different research groups on Design (DICOVI-Diseño y cognición en entornos visuales y virtuales / Estéticas en Diseño) and seeks to develop interdisciplinary processes that lead, from arts and humanities, to engineering, computer science, business and social sciences.
